The Road Ahead

As you may know, I’ve been working to get my new blog up and running. I ran into a bit of a snag when attempting to import the old to the new. Plus, I’ve also been a bit distracted by a couple of big projects, but this seems to be the new normal.

Since I didn’t want to spend endless hours on the phone sorting this out with the technical gurus, I’ve decided to just make a fresh start with the new blog. (There are several other reasons why this seemed like a good idea.)

So, the road ahead looks something like this:

  • What’s next? Well, I have several new series in the works. I plan to write about marriage and family; spiritual mentoring; kingdom concerns and Christian living in general. Lord willing, you will read some fresh content in these and other categories over the next few weeks.
  • What to do with all that old content? I plan to revise and republish some selected posts from the old blog. So, you can expect to see some reruns. I won’t be offended if those of you who are familiar with these environs don’t comment. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to learn that you have had a fresh thought-or-twelve on some of these topics.
  • What’s on the horizon? I plan to introduce some new features, which will be explained in detail as plans unfold. One thing that I am very excited about is plans to expand the number of contributors. Please keep an ear to the ground for word about these developing plans.
  • What else? Well, if you are still reading then you are a glutton for punishment. What’s more than that? You are also just the kind of person who can help with a big dream that has been taking shape in my heart for some time. Since this has already run on for so long, I’ll limit the details for now. Here it is in a nutshell:

I look forward to seeing you around the oasis in the days ahead.

Blessings in Christ,
